Issuer Policy Tracker — ITIN, deposits, graduation (verified)
Product policies change silently. This tracker is the reason to come back: each row carries a verification date and source.
How to read this tracker
Every row: policy + last verified date + source. Older than 90 days = stale, verify at issuer. Errors fixed within 5 business days (editorial policy).

Closed products — verified 2026
| Product | Status | Since | Alternative |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discover it Secured | CLOSED to new applications | June 2026 | Quicksilver Secured |
The old page stays up with a status notice and alternatives — selling a dead product is a liability, hiding it silently is worse.
What changed this quarter — Oct 2026
The Discover it Secured closure (June 2026) is the quarter’s biggest event: post-Capital One acquisition, the product paused new applications while existing accounts continue normally. Affected applicants route to Quicksilver Secured — same issuer family, different fee/rewards profile. Also flagged: tighter ITIN verification language appearing on several issuer application pages since the June 2026 regulatory inquiries — terms have not changed substantively yet, but expect updates.
How to use this tracker with your match
If you came from the quiz, your match already reflects this data — the engine excludes closed products and filters by your documents. Use this page differently: verify a policy before you rely on it (graduation timing, ITIN acceptance), and return quarterly. Stale advice costs denials; this page exists so you never have to guess how old a claim is.

Methodology — how we verify
Every row on this page is checked against the issuer’s own application page, disclosure, or help center — never a third-party summary, never a blog post. Each row carries the month of verification; rows older than 90 days are treated as stale and re-checked at the next quarterly pass. When two sources conflict, the issuer’s own page wins and the discrepancy gets a note. Corrections from readers: our contact page promises a fix within 5 business days (editorial policy), and the correction date is appended to the row — corrections are evidence of a working process, not something to hide.
Why this matters commercially as well as editorially: stale policy claims are the most common factual error across comparison sites, and the most expensive for the reader — an applicant who trusts a dead graduation policy or an outdated ITIN rule loses a hard inquiry and months of timing. Dated verification is the cheapest trust signal a finance site can build.
